Falling Heads, Cabernet Sauvignon wild ale,is part of our Bihor Terroir series. It is spontaneously fermented only with wild yeasts from our area, Bihor county in the north west of Romania. The beer fermented on the Cabernet Sauvignon provided by Podgoria 210, a local winery. So you might consider it a collaboration between Addictive Brewing and a local winery. It has a PH of 3,3. Colour is only from the grapes. Suited for ageing. We've brewed this to celebrate a new local band, Falling Heads - go check'em!

Hazy pale rose. Little bubbly ring. Light malt, light grape juice, copper metallic taste, a bit of cardboard. Definately a bit winey. Light sweet, light bitter, bit of milkfilm, pinch of grape sour. Medium body and low carb.

Bottle shared. Bit hazy dull pink with white head. Smells like rosé wine. Light earthy, soft rose, Roosevicee, dry grapes, soft funk, pee, soft citrus peel. Under medium sweet, sour and bitter. Over light bodied.

Hazy pink orange with a white head. Aroma is vinous, white grapes, oak and citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Wasn’t expecting much but it’s pretty nice!

[ As Addictive Falling Heads ].
ABV: 6.8%. Clear light to medium red colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, berries, grapes, sweet grapes, oxidide. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, grapes, oxidide, sweet grapes, berries. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft tyo flat. [20210320]

Bottle @Saxo. clear peach coloured, small white head. Mild aroma of red berries. Strawberry and grapes flavour. Light sour, light vinous touch.

Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is light pink. Aroma and taste are berries, fruits, citrus, white wine, malt and has a light sour finish.
