St Florence is an Australian Wild Ale refermented with white wine grapes. It is named for Topher and his wife's first daughter and the Saint Florence was a 7th century abbess from Cartagena, Spain.
At release, this year's edition has big aromas of lemon balm, stalky green banana and tropical fruits and pineapple The palate is savoury and structural, waxed lemon and tight tannins bring it to a close. Really happy with the interaction of skins and aged beer here.

very light golden color. Slightly hazy. Very dry, austere, very musty, wine character is very strong with a touch of peach and honeydew. Modestly tart nose. The palate is bone dry, fairly carbonated, very nice acidity. Dry finish with semillon character lingers. Not a tons of oak but that works well. Another masterpiece. This could replace champagne with a meal. Superb.

Cloudy beige blond to light yellow beer, no head. Aroma: nice, very funky, lots of brett, little fruity,g rape skin, wood notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, very bright and brilliant, clean acidity, a little funky, lemony, nice! Aftertaste: fruity, good acidity, lemony, bit of vinegar, yellow stone fruit, nice!

375ml bottle - Pours a hazy straw gold colour with a bubbly white frothy head that quickly disappeared. The aroma is vinous, tart apple and white grapes, woody and barnyard funk. A moderately tart, light sweet taste. Tart fruit and white wine flavours with woody and citrus notes. A smooth mouthfeel with a lingering sour fruit and drying finish. Nice!

375ml bottle from Hop Knocker, Durham UK. Hazy bright gold colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of citric rind, semillon grape, fruity, pineapple, funk, oak. Taste is sweet & sour, with citrus zest, white wine, barnyard funk, fruity, wood barrel, oak, tangy, zingy. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour acidic finish. Very drinkable.
