Bottle picked up from a supermarket in Austria and consumed at home sat outside in garden Sunday 3rd September 2023 with Mum and Keith listening to Slowdive - Everything is Alive with Souvlaki for tea tonight. Tangy, fruity and with a. maltiness but also dark fruits. A beer that is not really my style but nonetheless it's a very decent drop of beer.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a small off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, mild nutty notes as well as some toasted and mild grassy notes. Flavour is rather similar, with also some mild rye tones to it. Nice bittery, but sweetish nutty and toasted malts in aftertaste.

Bottle, many thanks Geiserich! Clear brown color with off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, molasses, bready, honey, a touch roast. Taste is the same, moderately herbal. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. I like (though it's not really an Alt as I expected it).

Bottle. Aroma rich malty, caramel, coffee, roasted. Smells like a fresh roasted malt mash addition. Clear dark brown colour. Taste pretty well balanced. All about malt, caramel, toasted, touch of roast. Very good, sessionable, tasty.

500 ml bottle from Craft Bier Fest Linz.
Copper, clear body, with a big, unstable, frothy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of roast, bread, metallic notes, dark berries, caramel.
Tastes of caramel, bread, berries, honey, some toast.
Quite light, slick mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes sweet, a bit roasty, bready, fruity.
OK. I don’t like the nose much, but the taste is quite nice, sweet and fruity. Overall an average Alt.
