Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Stas. Clear, rather deep golden. Graininess, malt, sweet, a bit of honey, slightly bitterish finish, light-bodied.

Bottle, small bubbly head, quite clear very deep gold color, malty slightly dried fruit with a medium herbal bitterness, sweet but not too much. Drinkable but nothing to write home about.

500ml can. Pours clear dark gold with a thin white head. Aroma is bread, malt, grain, caramel, lager yeast. Taste is medium sweet, lollypop, malt, faint hops. Light bitter finish. Ok lager. Glad Alivaria didn’t screw things up for this 155th anniversary beer. Nice can design.

Pours clear deep gold with a moderate white fizzy head. Low retention. Nose: robust grains, light esters, a hint of alcohol. medium minus body. Average carbonation. Taste: moderately sweet, malty, pure, lightly fruity. Some hop at finish. Light bitterness coming both from hops and alcohol. Short ending. Inoffensive.
