Bottle from Park Fever, Hither Green. Cloudy yellow pour with a swiftly retreating white head. Aromas of lemon sherbet, kiwi fruit, grapefruit, vanilla. Similiar action in the flavour with a splash of lime entering the fray. Soft bitter fruit in the aftertaste. Good stuff.

Keg at the Waterloo tap. A translucent yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is floral, rose water, Turkish delight, sharp citrus, floral lemon. Mellow saison yeast. Flavour is composed of light crisp malts, lemon, floral, rose water. Little straw and hints of Belgian yeast. Palate is crisp, tart lemon, highish carbonation. Good. Refreshing. Quite unique.

Waterloo Tap. Keg. Light haze on this paleish yellow gold beer, short white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts. Very deft blend of Rose and Lychee, smooth and mildly sweet but never sickly. Some mild spice. Light dry finish. Perfect blend of the ingredients. After a very aggressive IPA over at Hop Locker this saison came along and soothed my mouth and my palate perfectly. One of the best saisons I’ve had in yonks.
