Can from the Black Toad. Appearance - hazy damson with a big lively off white head. Nose - floral, perfumed and tropical. Taste - hibiscus, plum and undernote of creamy banana from the wheat. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. Gentle bitterness and tartness on the finish. Overall - very nice.

Can directly from Neptune courtesy of and shared with dad, Saturday 16th October 2021 listening to MGMT, at Isobel's Spond, nr Kington Herefordshire at the after wedding party. Pours a pink, hazy with a white head. This is a big step up from the Neptune Tellus Hibiscus and Mint Wheat that I have just had. Fruity, tart, soft, wheaty. Lovely

12/2/2019. Can from Tap & Bottles, Southport. Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a large frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, passion fruit, mango and papaya. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness, medium sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Citrusy sour finish. Pretty decent.

Can from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Amber-red with a thin head. Had a wheat beer just before this ale, although this is classed as one, this styling is not that evident. The passion-fruit flavours are though, with a small sourness attached. Its nose suggests it might be more sour than it actually is.
