Say goodbye to your semi-charmed life, and wassap to a bittersweet symphony of grapefruit and guava, perfectly in sync in this hazy IPA.

I was avoiding the purchase of this BS because all the other voodoo rangers taste pretty much the same, its a stupid ass marketing gimmick to try to get me to by all the varieties; but I saw this for a buck on the clearance shelf, so there is a tick in it. I drank it directly out of the can and it was only slightly cool so I really have no idea what color it is, except perhaps for the previous rater said it s golden in color. Pop the lid and I get the olfactory of fresh green sticky pine cones. Makes me think a little about the Christmas tree last December, or perhaps a pine air freshener. Taste is nothing special, its just terribly bitterly on style IPA, like any other IPA. Mouth coating dull, tedious, drab, prosaic, humdrum & tiresome. So boring, so insulting. How many other voodoo ranger bullshit varieties is NB going to make that taste the same as this? Who knows? As long as the lemmings keep buying them I guess they'll go on forever. Think this: Voodoo Ranger Infinity, LOL. There you have it, just like the nasty nellie never ending straight up ass bitter finish of any other IPA or voodoo ranger for that matter. The end. I'm so tired of seeing these VD things on the shelf. Go figger. I'm gonna make a determined effort to never buy another new variety of this crap. In the end, there is one thing I can say, at least it has a enough alky content to almost allow me to forget about it.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent/hazy gold with a decent white head. Aroma is mixed citrus, melon, passion fruit. Med plus body. Flavor is melon, passion fruit, citrus, light malt support. Sort of juicy, but not all that sweet. Moderately bitter with some passion fruit spikiness. Nice flavor.

Great jumpin' jehoshaphat at the guava. Not sure if any actual guava is used in the brewing process, but damned if it doesn't seem that way. Otherwise, a fairly basic IPA, with a lot of tropical fruit and a saccharine-like sweetness followed by a big nothingburger of a finish. Lingering sticky sugar and guava on the fade, no bitterness. Pass.

Can at Wodan tasting. Hazy yellow color, white head. Smell and taste malts, milkshake-ish, "romige aardbei-yoghurt snoepjes". Decent.
