German-Style Pilsner
A crisp, classic pilsner that carefully balances malt and hops with notes of breakfast cereal, floral, and citrus. Brewed with local Simcoe®, Loral™, and Palisade® hops grown on the brewery’s family farm in the Yakima Valley.
Made in the classic German style with noticeable hops and no adjunct malts. This local Pilsner is made with all Pacific Northwest hops, which bring additional citrus and berry fruit notes and less floral character compared to traditional European noble hops.

On tap at Bale Breaker & Yonder, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal, grassy notes and a dry biscuity malt base. Flavour is grassier, with bright, lightly bitter grassy hops, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Crisp and dry, well-hopped. Pleasant, albeit a bit too herbal.

Sampled from the tap at the Ballard location. Pours a clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has lots of bread and earthy straw notes with a hint of hay underlying. Flavor has a good amount of biscuit and earthy bread with a bit of straw in the finish.

12 oz can in a six pack. Crisp and sessionable. Flavorful pils for sure. Soft straw and bready grains, with a lively carb and grassy finish. A wonderful pils when enjoyed ice cold. I always look for the hops from these guys, but they make a solid football Sunday pils as well.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden, foamy head, lazy carbonation. Light grainy, bready aroma. Taste offers soft sweet malty flavors, more bready notes. Not much of a hop backend. Crushable.

Bale breaker Pilsner 4.8% Paler gold than the Georgetown Pilsner, the aroma is softly floral with dusty grain notes. Medium bodied, crisp and dry. Some herbal notes, this is softer and much more subtle than the Georgetown. I find it more up my alley.

12 oz. Aroma is grainy, bready, peppery, Smarties. Pours crystal clear golden with a one finger white fluffy head with excellent retention. Taste is highly bitter for style with some noticeable but light malt sweetness alongside; finishes very dry. Flavors like the aroma descriptors along with a faint note of lemon rind. Has a nice peppery bite. A really nice pils.
