Almost clear, golden pour. Aromas and flavours of malt, grape, some wood (?). Quite nice overall

Cask at the Tap room in London. I thought this was mostly brilliant. Lovely floral hoppy aroma and flavours. Nice bubbly foam. Cask finish which is nice Only complaint is slight soap backing.

Cask. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is bready, earthy hops, a bit citrusy, grassy. Taste is butterscotch, toffee, earthy hops, bready grains. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Alright.

Handful cask at the George, Southwark. Light to mid-gold, looking a bit hazy. Fair bit of natural carbonation, a small spotty white head, and noticeable lacing. Light citrus and gooseberry notes sit alongside a sulphur astringency. The astringency is stronger in the taste: fruity with a sharp and not entirely balanced bitterness, and a touch of soap. Long finish with orange peel and a jarring metallic bitterness in the aftertaste. It’s okay, but a trifle too messy for my liking.

Cask at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has some grain husk, white grape, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with harsh grassy bitterness, muted pale malt character, some dough, hay. Light bodied with soft carbonation. More hints of lemon peel to finish, husky grains, straw, grass. Bitter aftertaste. Not great.
