Our “glass-aged” barley wine, which we lagered in a stainless steel tank before bottle conditioning. We’ve been sitting on these bottles allowing for time and oxygen to do it’s thing—bringing complexity and depth. Sensory notes of peanut brittle, olorosso sherry, twangy pomegranate molasses, date-walnut, maple sugar, dried fig, leather, tobacco, dark toffee, loam, wine macerated sultanas.

Bottle in VT. Great stuff, fairly quaint in that it’s just the elements, caramel and toffee, some ripening berries, toasted bready malts. Super enjoyable.

Solo cup showing dark brown with sparse white foam.

The nose shows intense notes of raisins, figs, and oak bark with dry forest floor.

The palate is lightly carbonated and medium bodied. Moderately sweet with moderately intense notes of raisins and molasses followed by some burnt wood notes on the finish.

Bottle, thanks to Vin! Pours an unclear hazel, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is toffee, sherry, dark sugars, hint of tobacco, vinous notes. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body.

deep mahogany color. Caramel red current milk chocolate raisins, fairly tart, light medium body . Smooth as well. Very light body. Sticky. Very different. Excellent

Bottle shared by Chris D: pours mahogany with beige head. Aroma is dark fruitiness, maltiness, some earth. Taste is hefty notes of dark fruit, no alcohol burn, extremely smooth. Quite good/

Bottle, at share, thanks to Chris D. Pours brown. Cherry, raspberry, fig jam, port, chocolate biscuits, tart cherry, blackcurrant. Low carb smooth body. Very good.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is licorice, toffee, raisin, dates. Slick body, dark fruit, licorice, toffee, figs, boozy, very good.
