Can, from Trader Joe's. Pours faintly cloudy lemon yellow with large spongy white head, citrus aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter citrus-pineapple taste, thin body, long citrusy finish. Good taste but not really hazy; don't know why it's labeled as such.

Can from Wegmans. Says 8%. Hazy gold with a small off-white head. Nose is floral, orange and grapefruit peel, bread crust, white wine. Flavor is chalky citrus peel, white grape, green grasses, aspirin. Not very good... I would not want to drink this again.

My can says Hazy IIPA w/ sauvignon blanc grape juice; and the description is totally different. I hope this is the right place, I almost put in a new listing. My can is 8% not 7.7%. Oh well, there are so many IPA brews out there and so many taste the same but now I see onthis can it says the IBU are only 5, so how can this be IIPA? Go figger. It does smell like a floral IPA. Eye is somewhat light pale in color. Big foaming white head, wants to overflow my glass. Not sure how the IBU can be only 5, its quite bitter like many IPA, even doubles. A little less viscous than most impy IPA but it does have that warming sensation about it with every sip. Difficult & odd middle, bitter as all hell with somethin that I cannot identify in the background, rather rude. These tall skinny sixpoint cans are certainly unique. They've become a warning sign for me to stay a way, like the sound of a rattle snake or the color of a hornet. I cannot get into this and to call it a spritzer is totally misleading. On the finish it almost generates a gagging action. Straight up rude ass eye pee aye beer, whew. Nasty's nellie. Yuck, would not purchase another and I'm glad this session is over. Well, big hairy deal.

On tap at Dive 106. Pours frosty gold. Grape, white grape, passionfruit, peach, pear, light funk, biting acidity, citrusy hops. Medium body. Decent.

Pours pale gold with a two finger head. The aroma has some citrus and grape but is led by dank, resinous hops. The flavor has malty sweetness, a blend of fruit, and resinous hops. Medium bodied.

Fairly hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white soapy head. Aroma of very distinct dry vinifera and 'grapey' notes with some lighter whites coming out along with a heavy dose of citrus fruits, namely grapefruits. Medium-bodied; Very dry and herbal hop bitterness strikes through everything with a very nice floral and almost sweet fruity note from all the citrusey hops, but a very nice balance is stuck between all the hops and a sufficient amount off malt, the alcohol still comes in a touch at the end, but everything is spot-on for an Imperial-ish IPA! Aftertaste is very pleasant with a smooth fruit-based sweetness at first, then giving way to a nice blend of grass, herbs and very perfumey hop bitterness, again with the white wine grapes and pure white grape juice (Niagara or other locals) showing too. Overall, a very nicely done Imperial-ish IPA with the right format and no overt overhyping or marketing - just a good beer that should be tried by lovers of the style! I sampled this twelve ounce, tall can purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 05-June-2020 for US$2,33 sampled at my house here in Washington on 07-June-2020, just two days later.
