Can from explosivedog: pours black with beige head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate, creme. Taste is really off. Sour chocolate. Damnit this is old.

16 oz. can purchased at the brewery. The aroma is intense. Smells like smashed Oreo cookies. All cocoa and chocolate. Flavor is a tad milder in the chocolate/ cocoa department with vanilla, and weak roast showing. Body is creamy from a marshmallow like hint. Wouldn’t call the body thick but still pretty good.

Can pour from share with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is opaque black with no discernible sparkle, 1/2-finger width beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong vanilla, marshmallow, graham cracker, cocoa, as described. Taste is strong cocoa, vanilla, lactose, vague tart fruit quality. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with super silky creamy smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and sweet finish as taste. Overall, exceptionally well executed as what is described is what is delivered. Vague tart fruit quality is only real drawback for me from thoroughly enjoying it and some might find it too sweet but it's a great dessert beer.

16oz can at share.Near black pour, thin beige head.Aroma is Oreos, with elements of the chocolate and vanilla being distinct. More cookie flavors in the taste. Can I dunk this in a glass of milk?

16oz can pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is big sweet oreo cookies chocolate vanilla cream stuffing. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate cookie total oreo and even has the vanilla cream notes.

Draft. A- Chocolate, vanilla, cookie. A- Black color, black liquid, tan head. T- Vanilla, chocolate, slightly earthy, coffee. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The nose really did pull of the Oreo aroma. The flavor was solid too but not quite as cookie like. Knowing White Elm, I really think this would be great in a barrel. Good beer, overall.
