Fischer Whiskybier dunkel, vom Faß auf dem Berliner Bierfestival 2019. Laut Braumeister ein Doppelbock, der mindestens ein Jahr im Whiskyfaß gelagert wurde. - Dunkles Rotbraun. - In der Nase Mokka, Schokolade, eine ganz leichte Whiskynote, milde Zitronenschale. - Sämig dunkelmalzig mit feiner Mokkanote, zarter Frucht (Weißwein), dezenter Whiskynote. Feine, mild orangenfruchtige Hopfenherbe. Für einen Doppelbock beinahe schlank und schwerelos. Äußerst rundes, gediegenes Bockbier mit sehr feiner Whiskynote. Außergewöhnlich. (2.8.2019.)

Hazy dark brown. Aroma is heavy melasses roast a bit licorice slight smoke. Taste is grainy squeaky sweetness. Ok.

Tap at Fränkisches Bierfest. Honey and peanut roast. Darkest brown, offwhite lace. Medium full, mellow chewy body, dry, light Paprika, chilies, light gunpowder and Brussel sprouts. Tobacco retronasal. Surprisingly fresh and non-oxidized given the age

Tap. Hazy brown color with medium carbonation. Aroma is peated malts, chocolate, umami. Taste is the same. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok!

Draft @ Fränkisches Bierfest, Nürnberg. Pours a dark amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty woody caramel whisky aroma. Fruity malty woody whisky caramel spicy flavor. Has a fruity malty whisky smoky caramel finish.
