We took the recipe for our popular DDH Pale, The Little Pumphouse At Kinder Reservoir, and upped both the strength and the hopping rate to create a beer that's brimful with bright, juicy flavours of lime, orange, nectarine and pear. Full-flavoured without losing anything in drinkability.

Can at home picked up from CW online. A hazed orange coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is soft wheaty grains, fresh green citrus, lime zest, melon, squishy fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded wheaty grains, oily, spicy citrus, waxy, mellow tropical fruits. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, highish carbonation. Good stuff. Well rounded.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. In me new CW glass. Hazed deep gold. CW swede. Bit of a looker actually. Nose has dank and weedy. Sweet biscuit. Some sweet melon. Taste is pretty sweet and biscuity, with a pithy, hard citrus skin bitterness. Smooth on the palate albeit a tad sticky. Soft fizz. Moderate lingering bitterness to finish.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of mint and melon. Flavour of menthol, overripe melon and overripe kiwi fruit. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. It’s very good but a touch on the sweet/boozy side.
