Cambridge I think! Clear amber beer. Dry crisp palate. Nicely balanced. Tea like malt. Just a little bittering hop coming through at the end. Decent.

4.5%, 500ml Brown bottle, best before May 2010, drank early April 2010. Poured into a Batemans badged pint sleeve. Deep amber/auburn coloured body, clear. The head was pure white and held some good lacing as the beer sank. Malted biscuits, hints of toffee and caramel in the smell, no hop content aroma wise. Fairly sweet tasting, as the smell suggested, the maltiness winning out over anything else. A hop bitterness does rear its head as the mouth dries. There is a malty richness in the body, and it is easy to drink, but something is lacking somewhere.

unclear caramelly light brown, smooth beige head. Mild aroma. Flavor is malty, grainy, bitter hoppy, not the usual bitter, flavor is more like a less roasted guinness. Some sugary sweetness towards the end. Untraditional

[Cask at the Hobgoblin, High Wycombe] Anber, slight white heaad. Toffee malt with orange fruit. Nothing spectacular, but it’s quietly comforting and mellow. One of the better mass-market bitters.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Amber colour, off-white head. Nose is light caramel, bit of vegetables. Flavour is light malted, caramel and vegetables. Not too well.

Cask at the Corn Exchange, Brierley Hill. Pours a deep amber with a medium head. Aroma was bready malt. Watery taste to start with a bready malt, yeasty finish. A little thin.

bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard clear brown, large smooth offwhite to light brown head. malty, caramelly, nutty, honey-like and slightly flowery aroma.some bitter notes, but the malt is dominating. nice. flavor is caramelly, malty, bitter balance, but malts are the dominant taste. A little on the sweet side, but still with the dryness and good crisp bitterness from a bitter. very smooth palate. nice indeed.

21/01 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It poured amber body with small, slightly off white head. Caramel and toast aroma. Very slightly bitter flavor, watery and soon becomes boring. A bit of caramel extends all the way to its finish, but it’s not long anyway. Thin in body, completely watery. An ordinary macro bitter, weak, boring, but refreshing in some situations I guess.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with heavy and him.
Nice pale amber coloured, small white head, weak malty nose. Sweet malty, caramel and some hops but very light taste overall. Bitterish finish. Drinkable but expected better.
