Cask at the crosse keys bank. Opaque black dark brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is smooth choc, a little earthy. Flavour is smooth dark malts a little lactose milky sugars, milk choc and an earthy edge. Palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lingering tangy berry fruit and hint of roast. Very drinkable

On keg at the Craft Beer Rising event at the Drygate brewery. It’s almost black in colour with a nice fawn head. There’s plenty of chocolate biscuit going on but I really have to search for that savoury/salty note that I’m expecting from the oysters. It’s debatable whether it’s there at all. The taste repeats the nose and there’s a creamy textured medium bodied structure to it. The finish is also agreeable.

Bottle 500 ml from Vrutak, Zagreb. Pours dark brown with beige head. Light body, roasted malts, sweetish, some coffee. Too watery and lacks flavor.

Botella de 50 cl de el c. Ingles. Lote 1334 hasta 30-12-2012. Tomada en octubre de 2012. color negro con espuma beige. Aromas y sabores de maltas tostadas con toques de café y algo de chocolate. Cuerpo ligero a medio con 4.5 vol. Se bebe sin problemas, tal vez algo liquida y sin cuerpo. Se podría repetir. ########## Tomada con etiquetado.. Marstons pearl jet.. 3.0. Botella 33 cl. Cata XII Ratebeer Asturias en el kraken 04.. 09..2017. Color negro intenso con espuma beige persistente. Sabores suaves suaves tostados ligeros cacaos y cafés. Cuerpo ligero algo de gas. Sin pena ni gloria

Pours an extremelly deep black color with a generous, light brown colored head. The aroma is malty with caramel and some chocolate. The taste starts sweet, followed by some caramel finishing with quite some coffee bitterness. Nicely enjoyable.

Black color , with a creamy cappuccino white-brown head. Very light with some bitter notes. Not a really bad beer - but overall it has a lack of character and taste.

Bottle. Almost black with a fast disappearing head. It’s a very dry and tasteless brew with a small sweetness rather than any roasted malts. Fizzes a little in the palate.

500ml bootle from Asda. Looks nice, head is tan that last. Waterish taste for an abv of 4,5%. Apron a is mild malt. Mild malty aroma.
