Bananig hefiger, kaum süßer Antrunk. Der Alkohol ist erkennbar aber nicht störend, würzig malzig, auch hier halten sich Süße und Herbe die Waage. Rund, steigend würzig malzig, Nuancen von Kakao, langer Nachhall. Gut! 12/12/12/12/11/12

Barwa miedziana, mętna, z jaśniejszymi przebłyskami. Piana niewielka, bardzo szybko znika, żadnego koronkowania. Aromat ciemnych, opiekanych słodów, alkohol, ciemne owoce. W smaku słodkie, karmelowe, ciasto, z wyraźnym alkoholem, jednak nie chamskim spirytusem, tylko bardziej rum ew. cherry. Trochę owoców, wiśnia i banan głównie. Goryczka niska, średnia pełnia. Trochę nieułożone i niezbalansowane. Przyjemne, choć na kolana nie powala.

Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of Marcin, shared with colleagues. Hazy deep amber color with thin creamy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, yeast and alcohol. Taste starts with sweet caramel malt, follows yeasty with notes of dried fruits, mouthfeel is warming alcoholic, while finish is very mild bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. My first Polish dubbel...

Piwo piję już któryś raz z kolei i zawsze zapominam opisać, już samo to że powtórzyłem świadczy że jest dobrze, więc zaczynamy. Aromat: bogaty, słodki, trochę jak wino Porto, dużo estrów, słodkie ciemne owoce, wyczuwalny alk konkretnie rum, i delikatnie żelazo w aromacie jak i na skórze przy temp 10 stopni, po ogrzaniu zanika. Barwa: ciemno miedziana, zamglone. Piana: przy nalewaniu obfita jakbym nalewał pepsi, jednak dosyć szybko opada, nie zdobi szkła Smak: alk wyczuwalny ale w szlachetny sposób, dobrze zbalansowana słodycz z kwasowością, bardziej w kierunku słodkim, rumowym, wysycenie średnie, pijalne jak na dubbla, nie zatyka, z tym żelazem dziwna sprawa raz czuć raz nie. Dobra interpretacja stylu, a najśmieszniejsze jest to że można kupić w cenie euro lagera, w Tesco na promocji za 2,79 więc robić miejsce w piwniczce i brać ile się da.

Bottle. Brown colour, hazy, small head with decent lacing. Very, very intensive aroma of bubblegum, candi sugar, cane sugar, a bit of alcohol, but not disturbing. Lacks overly intensive raisins and prunes, which I don’t like in some dubbels. Medium sweetness, light bitterness from alcohol. Really good.

Big thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, dark brown. Sweet malty aroma. Starts not as sweet as exspected, strong, intense malty, dry, quite alcoholic. A bit sourish. Bitter background. Finish warming-malty, still alcoholic. Could be a bit more balanced. Okay.

Bottle from trade with kevnic2008, many thanks! Leicht trübes orangebraunes Bier mit einer geringen aber stabilen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen Früchten, sehr malzig, Dörrobst. Geschmack nach reifen Obst, sehr malzg, Karamell, minimal alkoholisch.

Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor.
