In this experiment we pushed the boundaries of a well-balanced, high gravity, highly hopped IPA, while increasing drinkability.
This Double IPA is brewed and generously dry hopped with Mosiac hops. You'll find a super floral nose, smooth bitterness, with hints of blueberries, mango, and papaya.

Tap at Mikkeller Kastrup. Clear amber with a slighly beige head. Loads of citrus here, grapefruit, stone fruit, quite a bit of zesty grapefruit peel. Slight touch of caramel before a dank, piney finish. Old school. Nice!

32oz crowler pours with a nearly clear copper body that supports a full frothy tan head of foam. The aroma offers up ripe tangelo and then thin notes of nectarine and grapefruit. The taste delivers tangelo and clementine juiciness and then heading into boozy bitter grapefruit and a sense of nectarine. Pretty nice for such a big beer.

On tap at Machete. Pours a hazy copper gold with medium white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is dank and citrus. Slick body, grapefruit, melon, dank, nice lingering resin bitterness, very good.

On tap at OMBF 2018, Krakow. Cloudy orange, white head. Caramel, malty, some tropical fruit, citrus, sweetish. Low carbonation. Medium bodied. Not my thing.

(On tap @ Warpigs, CPH, May 9/18) Clear pale amber pour with a white head. Notes of pine, citrus peels, soft sweet fruit, resin, dry grass, pale malt, slight grain. Moderately sweet with moderate bitterness and alcohol touches. Medium oily body with above average carb. Old school west coast. Solid enough, but not really causing much excitement for me either.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Dank grapefruit and earth aroma. Dank grapefruit and earth flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with earth and light caramel.

[ As Bottle Logic Double Actuator ].Clear medium orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light caramel, light heavy hoppy, pine, spruce, resin, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, pine, spruce, citrus, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20180509] 8-3-8-3-15
