Draft pour enjoyed at Bottle Logic, Anaheim. Clean, and clear, bright golden pour. Awesome piney hop aroma with soft tropical tones. Very inviting nose. Easy drinking imperial with lots of old school piney hop noted with a refreshing finish. Excellent execution of hop bill, and balanced about as perfect as it gets. Amazing double here.

Tip Tap draught, 6/30/23. Clear brass. Small, white head to ring. Heavily floral, spicy, not oniony. Low malt character. Clean, snappy, with a bit of citrus and yellow fruits. No resin whatsoever, not caramel/crystal malt character, thank God. Oh wow, this is shockingly well done for a WC. Rich, deep malts are honey and graham cracker like with no gross caramel. Hops are just bitter enough without being resinous and there's somehow no onion. Citrus, yellow fruits, lingering malt and gentle acidity. Clean, no booze. Now that's how you do a WC DIPA.

Can. Can't see a date, but importer launched the brewery locally less than a fortnight ago. Almost clear amber with a white head that's soon less than a coat. Very shy aroma of berries, grapefruit, some macerated pine needles. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Sweet with light bread, tenor register citrus, red berries, building pine. Fairly bitter finish. Just OK.

Can pour from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. It's a clear gold with lazy sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong dank herbs and pine. Taste mirrors aroma with late crackers. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation, no hint of alcohol (8.5%) and finish as taste. Overall, good strength of the aroma and taste. Not terribly complex but avoids getting too bitter.

On tap at Bottle Logic, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops upfront, with light resinous hop oils, and just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is beautifully piney, with lots of piney hops, some citrusy tang, and dry, crisp biscuity malt. Punchy, dry and piney. Excellent.
Malty, no can date. It's okay.

Seems to be a little old. Aromas are spicy oxidized hops with some amber malt. Flavors are like nose hoppy sweet upfront with some growing bitterness that levels off. Some oranges and mangoes in there. Slightly medicinal in the finish. Decent enough beer.

Very reminiscent of a late-aughts DIPA, with heavy doses of caramel and pine leading the charge, followed by moderate veins of mango, grapefruit, orange, and citrus zest. Finishes on a supremely bitter note, fairly ruinous--if you get my drift--and a lengthy, oil fade dusted with flowers and a modest grainy sweetness. Doesn't pack quite the tongue-scouring potency of its forbears, but it certainly leans into the history of 21st century IPAs.

Tap at Mikkeller Kastrup. Clear amber with a slighly beige head. Loads of citrus here, grapefruit, stone fruit, quite a bit of zesty grapefruit peel. Slight touch of caramel before a dank, piney finish. Old school. Nice!
