Can, half a year before bbd. Pours clear golden, with a big, although quickly dissipating, creamy head. Aroma is fairly nice tropical hoppy notes with orange, grainy malts and caramel, as well as some cardboard, butterscotch and cooked vegetables. Light body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter hoppy notes, with resin and citrus peel, as well as grainy minerals.

Can at home. The beer has a dark amber color with beige head. The aroma of this beer gives no indication that it is alcohol-free. There is nice, hoppy notes of pine needles, grapefruit, apricots, resin, grass, but also wort, grains and caramel. Hints of cooked vegetables. The first thing that hits me in the mouth is hops with grapefruit and apricots, then much wort and sweet malt. Slightly tart finish. Mouth feeling and bitterness is light. Good to be an alcohol free beer, but as expected the flavor is somewhat unbalanced, yet sweet and fruity.

Can. A faintly hazed copper colored beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Rather wort-like aroma, with roasted notes, bread, pine cones, grass and a distinct metallic touch. It’s medium bodied, yet feeling sort of watery, with a rather high carbonation level. It’s semi-dry on the palate, with some sweet bread and wort flavors, a decent bitterness and some piney, citrusy hop flavors. Bready, piney and citrusy finish. Sure a drinkable one, but too much on the malty side for me. 170120

0,33 boks fra Coop Prix, Austbøsletta: klar gylden med svært fint skum. Mild citrusaroma med antydning til granskudd. Frisk og lett syrlig smak, absolutt en av de bedre alkoholfrie, og uten den metalliske ettersmaken som så ofte skjemmer slike. Men skal jeg først ha et lavalkoholøl er Johnny Low stadig mitt førstevalg.

330 ml can, as Aass UTEN IPA, from Coop Prix, Tau. ABV is 0.7%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity and piney American hops (which is good), also the typical n/a beer notes of wort and over-cooked vegetables (which is bad). Distinctly hoppy and dry flavour with piney notes, has the bitterness of an IPA, unbalanced. Unfortunately the "cooked vegetables" are lurking in the background. Won’t buy again.

Nice hazed amberish color with a fine thick off white head. Nice hoppy aroma with a fine intensity. Nice body for a na beer and an average carbonation. Dominant citrus hoppy with some worth in the back. A really nice and tasty na beer.

33cl can from Coop Extra, Sandefjord. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Surprisingly hoppy aroma. Didn’t really expect much, but hoppy aroma with pine, fruits and citrus. Nice surprise. Better than a lot of pale lagers I’ve tried and certainly on of the better alcohol free ones.
