Fra fat på Cirkus, siste lørdag i 2019: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. En velsmakende, tørr IPA med god bitterhed som sørger for balansen på sykkelturen hjem. Furunål, litt besk grapefrukt og hvit pepper.

V sokolovni. Vona silna chmelova medova. Medova farba slaba pena. Chut silna vyrazna chmelova drsna. Na konci hlavne horke.

Draught, 5.8% at Beyond Beer. Good piney and slightly caramelly aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Good stable white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter. Uncompromising and not entirely pleasant bitterness. Does not taste as piney as the aroma suggests. Teaish, caramelly finish.

Tap at Rotterdam, Helsinki. Golden-amber colour, small white head. Hop oily, piney, a bit overriped fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Hop oily, piney and resiny flavour. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Solid old school ipa.

On tap @ Public Corner, Helsinki. Hazy golden beer with cloudy head. Dry, bitter with some grapefruit. Not very fruity though. Medium body and carbonation, bitter finish.

On tap at F-hoone, Tallinn as Põhjala F-Hoone West Coast IPA. Clear golden with a fairly modest, white head. Clean, fruity and slightly herbal with hints of citrus peel and pine. Almost forgot how a good old West coast IPA was. Weirdly clear and doesn't taste just like tropical nectar and nice and bitter too. (Keg at Kitty's, 20191024) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, floralness, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy brew without any gimmicks.

Draught @ Kitty's, Helsinki. Crisp, grassy and herbal hoppy with some caramely maltiness and citrus. Okay, crisp and clean, but quite generic west coast IPA.

Tap at Kitty's, Helsinki. Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Pine, caramel, some fruits, hops and malts.
