Juli-ish was an inevitability for hot summer days

Crafted to be everything you love about Julius, but in pale ale form, Juli-ish carries a glowing orange body and a uniquely fluffy appeal.

It carries notes of fresh-squeezed orange juice, sticky mango, and tropical fruit offset by an appropriate and thirst-quenching bitterness.

It's pale ale nirvana. Enjoy!

CD: 10.31.23 Let's Go Celtics.

Pours a murky deep yellow golden body and a thick fluffy, rocky white head with a small layer retention. Aroma's of dank hops, resin, juicy, sweetish. Retronasal it's dank, resinous, citrus and tropical fruit juicy. Flavour is moderate bitter, floral, tea. Light bodied. Firm bitter finish that doesn't last too long.

Charlton draught, 4/22/22. Moderately-to-heavily hazy, blonde-maize-golden with a small, moderately-well-retained, white head. Classic, lovely, free-from-twang-and-bubble-gum nose full of a bevy of citrus fruit juice and soft, honey-flecked malts. Balanced and easygoing with plentiful fruitiness, light hop acidity and a touch of minerality. Soft and juicy in the flavor, not thin/watery, with plentiful maltiness, great attenuation and tons of that juice. Citrusy and complex (complex citrus) with a soft texture, ample bitterness and no flaw, bubble gum or hop twang/resin. Lovely stuff, unsurprisingly.

Can (10/18/21) pour from the brewery in Charlton. It's an opaque dark yellow-light brown with light sparkle, a bunch of large white floaties and yeast sinking to the bottom, finger-width white foam head with excellent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong orange citrus, creamsicle and milder musky herb. Taste is incredibly strong orange, peach, grapefruit and creamsicle! Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, look is a little suspect for TH but aroma is good and the strength of the taste is off the charts (especially for ABV)!

Pours a hazy golden orange, with mid-sized head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit, with a strong mid-level bitterness that carries through to the finish. Soft mouthfeel. This is actually pretty good. How long until we get the session version of Julius?

Fruity and hoppy, orange and mango, sweet, light and dry. Reminiscent of J but missing the intense fresh citrus fruitiness. Nice.
