Bottle bought by my father at Beer District, Buxton. Clear - heading towards opaque - amber. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Resin and herbs. A sour citrusy streak. Big wave of brown bread doughy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Bouyed by soft and lazily fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Slips down but in an unimpressive fashion.

Smooth malty beginning. Nice dry ale aromatic, dry with hints of floral hops. Moderate bitterness, dry with a floral dry dusty golden ale aromatic. Nice.

Bottle. High Peak Wine and Beer. Slightly dirty orange gold. Slim lasting semi lacing white foam. Nose has mineraly malts. Pineapple flesh. Tinned grapefruit. Taste has some biscuity sweetness up front turning crisp and pithy zesty bitter. Light and clean. Lengthy bitterness to finish. Lots of flavour at the ABV.

On tap at Piccadilly Tap, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus hops and crisp bready malt. Flavour is harshly bitter, with lots of citric notes, crisp biscuity malt, and sharp bitterness. Harsh and somewhat difficult to drink.
