Keg at MBCC 2018 Red (session Trois), 11/05/18. Pitch black with a decent tan cap. Nose is sweet malts, coffee and cream, chocolate, light spice, coffee cake. Taste comprises coffee grinds, light black peppery spice, dark malts, toffee, Tiramisu. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a gentle boost. Solid coffee lead impy.

Nice light brown slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly rich and sweet sour-ish, dark malts, dark sugar, espresso, chocolate, toast, hay, cinnamon, toasted coconut, grass, coffee. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, toasted coconut, hay, chocolate, dark sugar, grass, espresso, alcohol, oak, minerals, bark, caramel, cinnamon. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Nice.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, espresso ground, roast, black chocolate. Taste is the same, very aromatic. Mineralic mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Awesome!

Sample at MBCC 2018. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour with a bubbly round off white head. The aroma is roasty, chocolate, coffee, big coconut. The flavour is moderate sweet with a roasty dry coffee coconut, sweet chocolate palate. Full to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the brewery. Great coffee aroma on an inky black body. The taste is coffee, nutty and coconut. A deliciously dangerously drinkable 9%.
