On tap at the brewery Hackney. Black beer lasting tan head. Caramel chocolate smooth . Caramel aroma no doubt. Dryer finish. Dark chocolate caramel flavour. It's controlled and OK. I mean it is a sweet caramel flavour with a dryer finish which comes partly from the carbonation. Like them all dem beers. Decent. Just not quite leaping .

Third, on tap at the brewery. Steady, creamy fawn-coloured head. Pitch black in the glass. Spotty lacing. Indeed, good looking. Inviting aromas of grainy chocolate. Well blended taste profile of earthy malts, almond and chocolate. Long-lived, warming finish. Velvety smooth in the mouth. Enjoying. (Hackney, London 28.09.2018).

Fra fat på bryggerpuben. Svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Aroma av kaffe & sjokolade. Luftig munnfølelse. Smaken innholdsrik. Det meste du vil ha i en impstout. Farlig lettdrikkelig. Toppøl. Alkoholen helt fraværende. I alle fall i smaken.

Tap. Black color with creamy beige head. Aroma is liquorice, roast, chocolate. Taste is liquorice, prunes, motor oil. Oily mouthfeel with foamy, but rather small-bubbled carbonation. Okay, but a bit overdone.

St John's. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a little creamy sweetness, little biscuity. Creamy mellow coffee and then a slight bitternes on the finish. Not bad at all.
