Defined for daylong companionship, the Golden Tuna rides along a medium bodied frame before delving into tropical fruit, a touch of floral, with a slightly piney finish. Climb aboard and cut her loose.

Can at home, from Beer Merchants tap, 24/02/18. Almost clear golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is citric sherbets, melon, toasted grains, lemon drizzle, light floral notes. Taste comprises melon, tangerine, toasted grains, straw, lemon rind, perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close flecked with floral hop bitterness. Decent enough APA but offers no wow.

16 ounce can. Hazy honey gold color. Small creamy beige head. Wonderful citrus hop nose has dank, oniony notes. Tart, piney hop notes. Light biscuity malt and mineral nuances. Sour citrus finish. Quite delicious and full of hoppy goodness. A tremendous session pale ale with immense flavor.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/20/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an excellent American pale ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Nice mix of vibrant/dank hop character; with a nice malt backbone and body for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Amber with a little bit of haze. Frothy head. Earthy nose, touch of caramel malt, herbal, earthy hops that blend well with the cararnelly malts.
