「一息」はこの混乱のご時世にみなさんの気持ちが少しでも楽になれば、という気持ちでつくりました。この役目を授けるのはジャーマンケルシュしかないと思い、原材料はすべてドイツから取り寄せました。麦芽はピルスナーモルトと少量のヴィエナモルト。軽い穀物感のある甘さをビールに与えます。ホップはビールに洗練された苦みとクラシックなハーブ感をもたらすHallertau Traditionに焦点をあてました。酵母はこのスタイルに伝統的に使われるGerman Aleという株で、王道の製法にのっとり低温で発酵させました。

「一息」は細部まで注意を払ってつくりましたが、フレーバーのジェットコースターみたいなものではありません。代わりに、真のおいしさを体現した、洗練された味わいにご満足いただけるでしょう。最初の一杯が飲み終わると「おいしかった、もう一杯飲めるな」と思うようなおいしさです。「一息」の洗練されたシンプルさがみなさんを日常のいざこざから解き放ち、リラックスしていただけることを願って。さあ、一息つきましょう。もう充分にがんばっていますよ。
名前の由来: まだまだ事態は落ち着きませんが、たまにはシンプルでおいしいビールで一息ついて、日常のストレスを忘れてくださいね。

Respite was brewed to make crazy times a little easier to manage. We felt German Kolsch was the ideal style for this mandate and sourced all the ingredients from Germany. Pilsner malt and a small amount of Vienna malt give a light, grainy sweetness to the beer. Hops are 100% Hallertau Tradition, giving the beer a refined bitterness and classic herbal flavor. The yeast is a traditional German Ale strain fermented at lower temperatures in line with production methods typical of the style. 

Despite all the care and attention to detail we put into Respite, it isn’t going to take you on a roller coaster flavor ride. Instead, you are rewarded with a refined beer that embodies the true definition of deliciousness—getting to the end of your first glass and thinking, “that was good, I think I’ll have another.” We hope that the refined simplicity of Respite allows you to step back from the trials of everyday life and just relax...you’ve earned it!
