This beer is dark amber, brownish in color, featuring purple hues. Its foam is compact and perfumed, Vanitosa is sweet, easy to drink and has some notes of syrupy fruit. Its finishing offers a fruity feedback, such as prune, chestnut and licorice. Its light, while involving body, makes the Vanitosa beer easy to drink but good on the palate for its well-rounded taste.

Shared 330 ml bottle. Orange to amber colour, white head. Malty aroma and flavour, some \"Belgian\" hints of kandij sugar, but certainly no trappist.

Endelig RBHD-samling igjen, og denne gangen ombord på Fridtjofen. 0,33 flaske fra Holmens importkoffert: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med kort skum. Karameller, lyse bær, gule epler. Slank og saftig, men lite som minner om belgisk dubbel.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 28.06.19. Dark golden. Small off-white head. Unfresh aroma of soap and green apples. Taste of sweet malt and fruits.
