A collaboration between the established and the freshman, tradition and trend, Solo and Kykao. A combination of brewing from Northern Europe, with winemaking from Southern Europe. The result is PLETHORA PENTADRUPEL ... a Belgian Dark Strong Ale with notes of raisins, fermented with a blend of beer and wine yeast, that celebrates each one of these elements ! Cheers !

Pours a muddy dark amberbrown. No head. Scent is intense, thick malty. BW like. Taste is full, tad tart (by the wine I guess) . Fairly boozy, eisbock like. BW side is very present, making it hard to think about this as a quad based beer - or anything else rather than a Barleywine for that matter . Mild carbonation. Sticky, toffee, caramel. Decent, but not great.
