Bottle 50 cl. Clear yellow with a tall, dense and lively head leaving laces. Sweet, clean malts in the nose. Medium body with lots of sweet pale malts, carbonation is a little low while the hoppiness is very subdued. Very pleasant. 210511

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight cornish.sweet cornish and slight malty. Light toasted. Mild bitter and toasted finish.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a creamy egg white head and lacings. Grain, hay and grass. Clean. Medium bodied. Dry bitter grassy end. Very tasty!

Draught @ Brauerei zur Sonne, Regnitzstrasse 2, 96120 Bischberg, Germany.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light hoppy, citrus notes, soap notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091221]

Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma was malty with grassy hops and fruity notes. Malty flavour with with grassy hops, fruits and caramel notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Draught @ brewpub. Golden colour, almost bright. Fresh malt aroma cracks with grain. Fresh, simple country lager. On the surface there seems little to it, but it is well-balanced and impeccably drinkable.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty, has a little chalk. Quite mild.

(6/30/08) Draught at Stöhrenkeller in Bamberg. Aroma of malt, some light caramelly notes and citrus hints. Sweetish flavor with pale malt, some butterscotch and sugary notes and a mildly bitter finish.

Draught. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is flowery, hoppy and also has some slightly wheaty and yeasty hints. Flavour is diacetylic with also malts, yeast and hops.

Pale yellow color, small white head. Light malty aroma with notes of citrus. Grassy, malty brew with some citrusy esters. Estery, but a bit boring helles.
