Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and finished with Madagascar vanilla beans and Panama Geisha coffee beans.
Fundamental Observation meets Mikkeller’s Beer Geek Breakfast in our first Transatlantic collaboration! The grain hills of these two legendary beers were blended, brewed, barreled for an average of 18 months, and steeped on Madagascar vanilla beans before being finished with Coldbot’s Panama Geisha coffee beans. End transmission.

Draught at MBCC 2018, red session.
Black body, with a medium, creamy, dark beige head.
Lovely aroma of smooth bourbon, wood, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, some coffee.
Tastes similar, while with more booze.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes boozy, medium sweet, a bit roasty, chocolatey, a bit wooden, with subtle vanilla.
Very tasty! Wonderful, rich nose, with layers of bourbon, chocolate, sweetness and roast. Taste is pretty boozy, while still very nice. Not my favourite Bottle Logic, but another great one.
