Capped and corked 750 from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent copper with a large finely foamed white head. Aroma is pear with notes of guava and pineapple. And maybe quinine. Med plus body. Flavor has a light toffee base (not that sweet for sure) with pine, green guava, pineapple notes, and quite clear quinine. Surely Gin and Macaquincoing would not be inappropriate. Tho likely deadly. Towards dry with quinine and pineapple prickles for bitter. A bit tart, but not at all sour. Quite delicious. For quinine aficionados.

Hazy blond colour with big foaming head. Aroma and flavour are very herbal. Basil, aniseed and coriander. Quite bitter in the finish. Could do with a little more acidity.

Bottle from Willems en Zoon Grobbendonk (B), Color: Hazy orangish golden, big frothy white head. Foam keeps coming out of the bottle. Superb lacing. Aroma: Spicy, fruity quince notes, Taste: Spicy, cake spices, fruity notes of quince, quite a lot of bitterness, Bitter orange zest. Saison yeast. Long lasting spicy and over medium bitter finish. Very recognizable as a classic Fantôme Saison. Over medium body, average carbonation. Great bitterness, Lovely beer.

Flaska från Etre Gourmete. Disig mörkt orangefärgad vätska med gigantsikt vitt skum som bildar en snygg toppluva på glaset. Väldigt kryddig i både doft och smak. Underberg, bittra örter, kinin, citrusskal och muskot men också en syltig sötma med kvitten och citrus. Annorlunda kryddig saison som var riktigt trevlig.

Clear orange beer, huge creamy fizzy bit irregular off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very herbal, oregano, yeasty. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: herbal, spicy, slightly sweet, fruity, pears, apple sauce, pretty bitter, hoppy, nice! Aftertaste: yeasty, some banana, spicy, herbal, bit soapy finish, more oregano.
