Pours brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate and vanilla finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

440 ml can, from Gulating ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and lactose. The flavour has the same elements, but the lactose sweetness is fortunately not over the top.

440ml can, #72, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Bodø. Pours a fawn-coloured head, jet black in the glass, poor lacing. Moderate cocoa-chocolate nose, roasted. Taste profile containing liquorice and chocolate malts, milk lactose beneath. Hints of sulfur in aroma and taste. Slightly roasted finish. Rather thin mouth feel. Average, more or less. Can. It's a brown one, more or less clear, with a small beige head. The aroma has chocolate, vanilla hints, dark roasted malts, coffee notes and burnt malts. It's medium bodied, perhaps a bit watery, and quite dry, with a soft carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, lactose and a touch of vanilla in the flavor, leading to a finish with roasted malts, chocolate and lactose. Suffers a bit from the ABV this one, but sure a nice beer. 210523
