Black Tuesday North American Port Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

Working with port barrels can be very tricky, add extended aging to that and it multiplies. With a second round of aging in port barrels, we were excited to taste the impact these barrels had - and to no one's surprise, we found an elevated flavor profile with big and decadent notes of dark dried fruits, vanilla, and a hint of bitter chocolate.

10 oz. Can shared by heather_b. Aroma is bold port, jam, soft booze. Flavor is really jammy with solid amounts of port though out the sip. Booze is here but not forward for the strength. Thanks Heather!!

Brownish black, very viscous. Smells boozy, clearly port, some roast. Viscous, plenty of alcohol but not sharp, not thick. Taste has loads of port, almost more than the black tuesday. Some chocolate, very light roast, oak.. And so much port.
