Bottled 750ml. -from Il Maso dello Speck Brunico, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Darker amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty and light caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, nutty, light dried fruits and bit yeasty with sweetish finish.

0.75 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from Italy, shared with Marko and him. Dark copper to ruby red colour, medium off-white to tan head. Moderately lasting. Aroma is grainy, caramely, lightly toasty, lightly yeasty. A hint of cherry candy. Smooth, medium body. Flavour is bready, toasty, caramely with a hint of butter. Light to moderate hoppy, herbal and earthy bitterness. Surprisingly good balance overall. Smooth. Finishes moderate sweet.

Ginormous 750ml bottle Ogi lugged from the Speck museum to share with us, huge thanks! Lightly hazy deep red-amber body, off-white head. Creamy maltiness with red fruit in the aroma, lightly yeasty-tart but okay. Lean, dry caramelly taste, trace roast perhaps. Had a whiff of ugly refermentation yeast at first pour that dissipated quickly, but it did left a vague phenolic touch in the finish along with vague roast and hoppiness. Still, let's call it decent.
