1/6/2019. Bottle from Die Bierothek, Wurzburg, shared at the Krsko GP beer share. Pours clear amber with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of toffee, fruit, golden syrup, maple syrup and brown sugar. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Nice level of sweetness to this, had been expecting it to be a lot sweeter than it was. Enjoyed it.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, fairly lacing, off-white head. Citrusy hoppy and caramel malty aroma, notes of orange and tangerine, grapefruit, a touch of pine, widely disguised hints of maple syrup. Taste is dry, bitter, slightly citrusy hoppy, zesty hints of grapefruit and lemon, some orange and tangerine; not much residual sweetness - ergo not many vestiges of maple syrup detectable. OK.

Bottle 33 cl from Dresden. Orange, hazy with a white head. Fruit aroma, grapes, spices and orange. Light bittersweet with a soft fruit end.

Pours from the bottle deep bronze with a haze. A frothy white head lingers for the duration. The aroma has a light cellar dankness but is not without its charm—overripe mandarine, apricot, maple syrup. Taste is not overly sweet for me at all. In fact a mild, dry bitterness dominates from begin to end. A bit of maple syrup lingers on the tongue afterwards. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. Overall, I was not sure what to make of a maple syrup dipa but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Good!

Hazy amber. Aroma is apricot, some yeast, plum. Taste is bitter apricot peel, balanced with bitter nutpeel. A bit too heavy and oily on the tongue. Still great.

Bottle, danke Jungs! Berry, strawberry jam aroma. Hazy amber, offwhite lace, medium light , sparkly, sweet jam start, light mint, blueberry, hallonsoppa, maple berry muffins, cake spices, dry sweet finish. On the sweet side but quite quaffable.

Bottle, many thanks Max! Clear amber color with white head. Aroma is sugar candy, grapes, strawberries, raspberries and other berries, pretty jammy, very interesting. Taste is strawberries, honey, quite some strong sweetness from the maple, slightly boozy finish. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. This works out better than I had expected - I like maple beers, but never had an IPA with it. It just might be too sweet for me, though maple sweetness I seem to like more than plain malt sweetness.
