Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 30A: coffee beans / 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L1773 (BB: 03/25). AROMA: medium-low roasted malt aroma (chocolate, roasted barley), low malt background of some toffee and coffee and cream. APPEARANCE: dark brown color with ruby highlights and clear. low beige head with no retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with low roasted malt notes (roasted barley, low dark chocolate and coffee). medium-high bitterness with a dry and slightly roasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a stout with added coffee beans that were not detected amid the roasted barley.
