Medium snowwhite head over copper-golden clear beer; medium carbonated. Pale & light-coloured malts; caramel and dough aromas. Mainly sweet, malts, both pale and lightly coloured. Bit of (hoppy) bitterness retronasal, but rather indifferent and as an afterthought. Cereals, cornflakes. Spritzy carbonated feel, also backthroat. Quite slick, medium bodied at best. OK, but not the best example. It’s not typical of Czech Pilsener, more a strong(er) luxury lager. Txs to Denisa and Honza!

(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 28 July 2011) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of white bread, grass, vanilla and a mild grassy bitterness. Malty taste with bread, grainy malt, vanilla and grassy hops in a finish with a rather mild bitterness. Medium body with a certain malt sweetness. Solid and tasty Bohemian pilsener.

Golden beer with medium white head. Malts, grass and some aromatics nuancees in the aroma. Flavour is malty, some grass, greasy ja overally surprisingly quite fresh. Nicely slippery to drink with balanced carbonation. This beer is enough aromatic and fresh, without disturbing nuancees.

Bottle, 5.5%. Mild malty aroma, hint of smoke? Clear amber colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour has a little malt, subtle spicy note from the hops. Perhaps a hint of smoke in the finish.
