Poured up on tap at tipsy where it exhibits a clear gold colored body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a fruity bouquet of apples, figs and limes. Interesting. The taste delivers a blend of bready malts, juicy to tangy to bitter lime like hoppiness. To midway the carbonation grows revealing more fruity esters and an edge of yeasty esters. How is it Karl Strauss can't churn out a proper Kölsch? This is muddled and estery and lacks a clean hop profile and crispness of proper Köln Kölsch.

On a flight at Eureka! Irvine on 30th December 2021. Bog standard Kolsch, meaning it was a light, bright golden colour with a white head and had no real nose or taste. It's subtle in every way, or boring if you are unkind, it just doesn't have an aroma worthy of the name or a flavour you could get your tongue around.

The Aromas are wet grain pale malt yeast and dust. Flavors are sweet up front followed with some bitter enhanced by the carbonation. Not a beer with a lot of depth, but drinkable

Drucken på fat på Bishop Gustaf, Malmö. Liknar inte någon kölschå. Brettbg och lite funkig, syrlig, med fat och frisk citrus och ganska stram. Piggt, krispigt och gott.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma is lightly bready with a little non-citrus fruit. Med body, nearly. Flavor is bready with some mild grassiness. Not sure where the fruit aroma came from. It is decently bitter, but the flavors aren’t enticing.
