Very hazy golden and peach coloured body with a bright orange glow, around 90 per cent opaque with a thinnish, soft white head that stays afloat nicely for how small it is. Aroma of very pungent and resinous hop notes with an older school bitterness along with some tropical fruit notes that provide some complexity and a good level of sweetness noticeable in the nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Pretty rich malt notes show at first with a lot of resinous hops but nothing too bittering, but some herbal and grassy notes show towards the end with a light dose of sweetness from lactose and fructose here with the oranges coming out at the end. Aftertaste is pretty rich as well with a lot of sugars from the finish and a lot of body provided by the wheat/malts, but the hops and bitterness are great at the end and provide a nice punch that the style deserves, with a fairly balanced body throughout. Overall, a great example of the style, full of flavour and complexity and while rich, this wasn't too cloying or pungent. Nice to sample and well worth trying to find if you like the style! I sampled this fourteen ounce goblet pour on draught at Mekong [Restaurant] in Richmond, Virginia on 20-February-2022 with my wife and three kids while eating great food and having even better beer for US$7,00.

Cloudy yellow-orange body, thick cream head. Aroma funky and tropical with pineapple, lychee, orange, and citrus rind. Body full, with big pineapple notes, also lychee and papaya, a nice mineraly-umami-sweet balance. Clean and soft with modest vegetal spice.

16oz can pours a translucent peachy gold with a good cap of white head.  Nose has stone fruits, super fresh citrus, some stinky melon, yuzu.   Flavor has citrus and herbs and melon and stone fruit.  It all works so well.  Finishes full bodied with a little bitterness and some fruit.  8 5 8 5 15
