This is a very innovative beer crafted with the latest american hops types.
Technically it’s an ALE (High Fermentation). It’s a cloudy (due to the use also of wheat malt) dark orange beer under a long lasting and creamy pale beige foam. This is really fine and persistent due to a soft carbonation. We have choosen a very complex malt recipe to create the right frame for the hopping. This frame enhance the freshness and the aroma of peaches apricots and also rose grapafruits. What will be really amazing and for sure will surprise you is the aroma that you will perceive already from distance: citrus, rose grapefruit, mango, just to mention some sensations. The drink is also dominated by the hopping. Strong bitterness (about 80 IBU) without being aggressive and with notes of bitter orange. Still in the mouth you’ll continue perceiving mango, rose grapefruit and peaches rounding the bitterness.. This is not a classic beer.. you’ll hardly forget!

Bottiglia.

Grazie Luca 31.01.20

hazy orange colour, large, dense ecru head;aroma of orange, mango, lemongrass, some pineapple, slight piney and biscuity notes; well balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; good IPA Re-tasted in Aug 2020: well, it's much less intensive in its aroma and taste and has some rotten vegetable notes; original rating (8/4/7/4/15: 3.8) changed

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Hazy dark orange color with white head. Aroma is orange juice, toffee, toasted malts, melanoidin-like, a touch tropical fruit hopping, lemon. Taste is caramel, chocolate, black breadcrust malts, orange nectar, a touch maracuja, bitter finish, minty. Velvety mouthfeel with a smooth and soft carbonation. Decent, though I am not sure it improves the old recipe - the maltiness does not really work together with the sweet hops, it's a bit too much of everything.

Bottle with Kombucha action, danke Anstei. Murky orange brown, big offwhite cream. Citrus, lemon, creamy cheese, lychee. Medium light, very dry grassy hops, melanoidin, lemon cheesecake, Juice and roasted spicy caramel, minty, a bit like brushing your teeth at the wrong time. Tropical finish. A bit muddled.

Bottle, courtesy of Marco. Pours unclear amber with a decent head. Aroma is lots of citric hops, mango, some grapefruit and other stone fruit. Body is medium but chewy, lively carbonation, decently sweet and bitter. Fruity and refreshing. Just a tad too bitter, otherwise a really good classic IPA.
