Pint can shared at Benny’s place. No ABV on the can, but it does say “imperial” so I’m assuming it’s the 10% version. Poured almost black in colour with a thin whispy broken tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, peanut butter. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, nutty, chocolate, sweet lactose palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Perhaps a little too sweet.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Opaque black pour. Brief tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and peanuts. Flavor is tangy, roasted malt, peanut butter, chocolate and vanilla. Very sweet and creamy. A bit of booziness in middle. Sweet, candy-like finish.

Bottle pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Opaque black with ring of beige head, nice viscosity. Aroma is strong peanut butter, roasted malt, hint of coffee. Taste is strong peanut butter, cream, milk chocolate, sweet malts. Mouthfeel is full bodied with smooth, creamy, thick texture. Neither too sweet nor evident alcohol--very well made--and great mouthfeel.

750 ml bottle. Aromas as a large peanut shell and peanut butter influence with mild chocolate. Flavor follows with a thick, rich, velvety texture. It does pull off the candy without doubt. Somehow doesn’t get overly sweet either. For a PB stout this is awesome!

750ml (thx, John B.!) @ Matt's. Vintage 2019. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: weird, like roasted malts with some fruity acidity, some earthiness. Taste: quite sweet and fruity, some lacto. Overall: weird one, maybe got too old?

Dark brown, thin head. Aroma shows dark fruits, light chocolate. On the palate, it's got a touch of fruitiness, raisin, and then there's a bit of chocolate to it. Some alcohol comes in late. Not powerful. Has a fruity tartness to it, some sweet sugars, raisins, that sort of thing. Really not peanut butter at all.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with a small light brown head. Nose brings out some dusty peanut butter powder, light cocoa, and a hint of lactose. Flavour is sweet and lacking any depth or complexity; there's gentle cocoa, lactose, not really any peanut butter. This is honestly quite disappointing. Simple, without much depth, and just generally boring. OK.

Jet black with a small light brown head,. Raisin and some light chocolate notes. Chocolate, raisin and that’s about it.

Bottle at Black Christmas March 2022; year 2019, non barrel aged
Black colour, no head. Aroma of chocolate, banana, peppers, peanuts. Sweet, thick, but not syrupy, a bit of chocolate and nuts, and alcohol, but low complexity.
Good.
