Deep dark pink coloured body with a strong and relatively opaque dark brown and violet glow, all with a thinnish, single centimetre tall just off-white head that looks a slight pink colour, that fades quickly. Aroma of deep fruits with some raisins, raspberries, grapes and a good hit of apples, along with a noticeable amount of cream and vanilla, but could be lactose, along with some softer caster sugar notes. Medium-bodied; Strong fruit flavours dominate of course with the raspberries, blackberries and even some stronger blackcurrant notes in the mix. Relatively pungent notes of sugars also coming through with ranges from fructose to lactose and even some relatively soft caster sugar notes at the end that makes this a touch cloying. Aftertaste shows the fruits with a good hit of raspberries, vanilla, lactose and pure sugar to finish things out, quite tart, but not really soured. Overall, a very nice, respectable fruity beer that has some tart and wildish characteristics, but the yeast is fairly well muted throughout here. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 11-April-2020 for US$4,31 sampled at my home in Manassas, Virginia on 11-August-2020.

This beer is a cloudy reddish-copper color with a medium pinkish-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of raspberries, wheat and malt. Medium body with a tart raspberry character and notes of herbal wheat and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a mixed berry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
