Black Tuesday Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout - Finished in Maple Syrup Barrels:

Unique from other maple projects in that this flavor is solely an exploration of wood. Already aged in bourbon barrels for a year, we then laid this massive imperial stout to rest in maple syrup barrels for additional aging. With over three years spent in barrels, we found the maple flavors to be big, bold, and sticky. Enjoy!

10 oz. can shared by Heather. Aroma has booze, maple, chocolate malt. The booze is NOT hidden at all. Maple is not forward and balanced by the booze funny enough. Body is fuller with a slick texture.

Dark brown, near flat. Smells boozy, heavy bourbon, bit wood, some very dark chocolate. Rich, smooth, and definitely some boozy heat. Flavourwise bourbon, and getting some nice amount of maple there as well. Dark chocolate, bourbon. Real good.
