Añejo Tequila Barrel-Aged Sattlerita was created as a result of David Sattler's winning the bid for the Akron Civic Gala to help raise funds for the Akron Civic Theatre! This amazingly delicious beer features a blast of bright citrus that will delight your senses coupled with hints of agave and tequila flavors from the hand selected barrels used to add complexity! It's not a margarita, it's a Sattlerita!
An amazing, refreshing combination of agave fermentation, barrel aging, and fresh citrus flavors of the Caribbean are captured in this beer! Whether you’re floating around The Lakes in the summer sun, or just wish you were, this beer will get the party started - Aye Caramba!

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate starts smooth but it rapidly gives way to a good fine minerally crispness. Light creamy malts, a good level of sweetness here. Intense lemon and lime Jelly Tots (thanks to my better half for pointing that out). The Tequila barrel adds oaky vanilla and saltier lime along with some Tequila greeness. Floral lime on the finish along with some more sweet lemon. Wowzers. Just a lemon and lime delight. Intense and drinkable. Very nice indeed.

16oz can from Tavour. Cloudy amber pour with tight, white head. Aroma is lemons, tequila and caramel. Really pleasant. Taste has the lemon and tequila wrestling for control, but who care who wins. This a damn tasty beer, refreshing. I'm sure the ABV will catch up with me eventually.

Sample at the Hoppin’ Frog Tasting Room. Clear copper-gold pour with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of malt, lime and oak. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky tequila, lemon-lime and grainy malt. The finish is oaky with a tequila gimlet aftertaste. Good beer overall.
