12 oz can pours a dull orange with a coarse soapy white head. Standard hazy tropical hoppiness with a little strawberry. Not bad overall.

12 oz. Aroma has notes of grain, strawberry. Pours hazy orange with a one finger bone white head with good retention. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness, very little sweetness and subtle strawberry and grainy flavors.

Sampled from the tap at First Draft MN. Pours a near clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet strawberry and a bit of grass and slightly sweet citrus supporting. Flavor has slightly dry straw berry and a touch of citrus but a bit thin overall.

12oz can. Not really a hazy IPA, with an artificial strawberry tone. Beers like this make it hard to want to continue this hobby. Whoever is running Alaskan is making really bad decisions as far as new beers and what to push. I suppose it drinks smoother than the fruited iPas of yesteryear, but still not desirable

12 ounce can from Festival Northland, 7/14/21. Hazy orange, large frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of strawberry and piney hops. Taste sweet and tart berry, pale malt. Dry and juicy. Simple.

Fairly clear, but slightly hazy golden and copper coloured body with a very thin off-white head that shows a nice glow with a thin layer on top. Aroma of bright grassy and very citrusey hops with some oranges, grapefruit and a light dose of resin noticeable here in the nose, with a slight bit of grassy and biscuity notes as well, but no strawberries at all here. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal hop notes dominate with a dry bite and a lot of citrusey flavours and some resinous punch with a light dose of alcohol and a good deal of malts, but gain, no strawberries here at all. Aftertaste shows the hops and bitterness with a lot of citrus notes, some pungent grass and hay without too much else, aside from a good balance of malts and alcohol here without too much complexity. Overall, a decent plain IPA that borders on New England style without any real strawberry fruit elements, just the citrus and light sweetness that couples with the bitterness and the alcohol but doesn't show any strawberries at all or any real complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Brown Jug in Fairbanks, Alaska on 25-June-2021 for US$2,29 sampled after hiking Mount Healy with my wife and three kids on 26-June-2021.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Orange golden hazy, pour with a big fluffy head which recedes to a thin film. Very light strawberries in the aroma. Taste picks it up a bit, a bit more strawberry, a little bread. Subdued, by just the right amount of flavor for a summer day.
