Select lots of Parabola, Walker’s Reserve, Stickee Monkee, Velvet Merkin, Bravo and Tequila Helldorado combine to deliver dark intensity with notes of rich, roasted malt character; mellow s’more-like flavors of dark chocolate and vanilla and graham with hints of caramel pecan.

Bottle. Black beer with a brown head. Bourbon and chocolate aroma with marshmallow. Bourbon and chocolate flavor with light coffee and marshmallow. Medium bodied. Bourbon and toffee linger with coffee and marshmallow.

12 oz bottle from the Firestone Walker Brewery Online Store. Nose is vanilla, bourbon, toffee, roast, nutty, and biscuit. Opaque brown black with a medium lightly lacing tan head. Flavor is moderately sweet with bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, and hints of anise and candi sugar. More bland than a lot of the older vintages but it adds a 15th year to my vertical.
