Oh yes! We are teaming up again with our Yorkshire buddies to again brew a monster of an IPA. After the first IPA, a session and an imperial IPA followed. This time we are stepping it up and ending the tradition with a bang...the monster IIIPA! a 18% ice distilled mayhem of an IPA Explosion of tropical fruits, packed with american hops and sweetness. The idea is to close of with a bang, however an even bigger beer is always in the line of possibilities...

Long overdue can shared for our replacement borefts. Pours a lightly hazy but mostly clear amber with a small head. Aroma is strong hops, crazy pine, boozy, earthy-herbal. Big body, but smooth. Flavour is big, rich, sweet and malty. Crazy pine, high bitterness, grapefruit, like a crazy west coast IPA. Amazing. Crazy drinkable, like the old enough to drink.

Can shared. Yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is quite fruity hoppy to my surprise. Flavor is citrusy fruit hoppy I must admit, yes it has a firm boozy bite but it's actually pretty drinkable. Dangerously drinkable probably, although I might struggle with a full can. Well brewed I must admit.

10 August 2019. At Belgian Beer Geek Tasting. Cheers to the crew, thanks for hosting, Tim! Canned 26/11/18. Hazy orange, lasting, thin, foamy, off-white head; quite some deposit. Aroma of dank onion, mellow orange & mango, ‘weed’, grass, gin, cheese. Taste is medium fruity sweet, hinting at mellow peach & orange, bitter grapefruit peel, spicy-floral & oniony effect, some lime. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, spicy & grapefruity, medicinal, strong warming gin-like alcohol, but relatively ‘subtle’ still at this ABV. Medium body, creamy/chalky texture, soft carbonation. Monster IPA for sure, interesting but not overly tasty to me.

Can. Golden color. Green tea dominating the aroma, citrus, Malty sweet, green tea, orange, white pepper, tropical fruit. Full bodied. Hop oil. Alcohol pretty well hidden considering its ABV. Huge, surprisingly tasty beer.

Pomarańczowa barwa, zamglone. Piana opada do obrączki. W aromacie wyraźnie egzotyczne z nutami ziołowo-naftowymi.

Dus zeg mij gewoon: waarom 18%?
