Pours black, small layer of tanned bubbles. Scent is roasty, very roasty. Dark chocolate, mild booze. Taste is full, very thick, roasted malts, chocolate sauce, mild but present barrel. Medium boozynes. Not so much on the adjunct, but lovely nevertheless. JWB does their stouts so damn well, and this is no exception. Even for their standards, this is a pretty thick one. Lovely - but not amongst their very best

500ml bottle at share. Black oily pour with a patchy beige head. Bourbon rules the day, dominating te aroma and taste. Elements of chocolate and vanilla and roast malts bubble up throughout. Luscious, velvety throughout. Decadent

Dark brown, no head on this. Big burly bourbon barrel, light vanilla, then chocolate and a blast of alcohol to provide some balance. Ok this is a lot of fun.
