Hazy. Dullish, but with a nice head. Has some phenols on the nose, a but buggy and with quite a bit of bitterness. There's some inappropriate pedio expression like stank feet.

On tap at Rowley, pours a cloudy bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle farmhouse notes upfront, with lots of earthy rye buried in there. Flavour is full of earthy rye, farmhouse notes, and plenty of phenols. The phenols / burnt rubber character is rather detracting, indicating that there was likely some temperature control issue here. Not a disaster but the phenols certainly ruin this a fair bit.

10 oz. pour at the brewery. Pours an unclear, dark, orange color, with a big, frothy, off-white head. The nose is orange peel, heavy rye, peppercorns, lemon peel, and light yogurt. Sweet and grainy, with an assertive bitterness. Solid.

Pint can thanks to daknole! 9/4/21. Hazy orange, three finger fizzy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of sweet bready malt, spice, rye, honey, apricot. Taste is rye, bready malt, stone fruit. Full bodied, dry, simple. Nice.

Bottle at share. Hazy golden pour, small head. The usual saison notes in the aroma and taste, while the rye adds a nice musty essence. Surprisingly tart for a saison.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a cloudy orange gold with small frothy white head. The aroma is earth, floral, rye, oak. Medium body, strong rye, yeast, spice, oak, lingering dry finish, very good.
